Meet Alison Parker, 69, Credentialed Practioner of Coaching student.
Alison shared her story with me today and I was truly touched <3 She has experienced countless challenges, faced the death of her husband, a cancer diagnosis, various incredibly challenging situations with her 4 adult children and has one of the most joyful attitudes I’ve ever met.
Her journey with The Coaching Institute has seen powerful personal growth, she feels stronger, has found her voice, her confidence and her inner strength to be able to share where she’s at with others and use that to help those she works with.
Alison has volunteered for 25 years in aged care currently volunteering in the pastoral care team. She brings fun, quirk, laughter, love, creativity and pure joy to the hearts of all those she touches.
She shares… “Walking through the doors at TCI I could feel the love and support…it feels like home..this is what I aim to create in my own workplace. I see the people, not the dementia, it’s called love, it’s called respect.” I was so in awe of how kind and giving to serving others that Alison is, if you ever have the pleasure of meeting Alison, be sure to say hello and give her a big “Patch Adams” hug :) - 5 hours ago
