Whether it’s someone at work, a bully, or someone speaking to you in a negative way, choose to respond with POSITIVITY.

I’ve found that in the majority of the time, people lash out negatively towards others because they are dealing with something internally. In fact, they are trying to deflect the anger they have onto other people as opposed to dealing with deeper issues.

Responding with backlash and further negativity will only make the situation worse.

Responding with optimism will help create a more positive and open environment.

I had such a good personal training session with @robdownesfitness today. We focused on legs & its amazing how much we get done in an hour.

Reflecting on the session, I told Rob I struggle with my knees when I do BB squats as I feel they go inwards no matter what weight I do. He was so patient & after about 4 sets of trying different techniques we found one that worked for me. I felt so relieved and can't wait to do legs again so I can keep pracitising. I sometimes get so frustrated with myself when I can't do something / something doesn't feel right. But I am so competitive and will always keep going until I've found a way that works for me.

We also did sumo deadlifts. I have been going to the gym for a year now and never done these so I was excited when Rob said we were going to do them. I managed X1 set of 10 reps at 40kgs then X2 sets of 10 reps with 50kgs. I was absolutely buzzing with this & really proud of myself. I will definitely be doing more of these as they made my glutes on fire!! I will film some videos on my next leg session. 
I am really enjoying my personal training because I am always learning something new. Also I feel I can use the sessions to always improve form and I can really push myself. Believe it or not, it doesn’t.

A positive attitude is the result of your beliefs, expectations, habits, and focus. It has a positive impact on your relationships, creativity, career, and overall enjoyment. You’re more capable when you feel good and have high expectations!

Here are some things you can do to maintain and foster a positive attitude:

1️⃣Create a gratitude list. It’s easy to focus on what you don’t have in life. Change your focus and remind yourself of all the great things you already have. Each morning and evening, rattle off a list of the people, things, and experiences that make you feel grateful.

2️⃣Make exciting plans. It’s easier to be happy with a few exciting things planned for the near future. Planning a trip to Paris would be nice, but simple things work well, too. 3️⃣Do something nice, anonymously. It’s thrilling to do something nice for someone without their knowledge. You feel like a superhero. Mow your neighbor’s grass or send someone flowers. Give a gift card to the elderly couple down the street. Do something and keep your involvement a secret.
