This exercise is one of my favorite ones for developing those rear delt muscles. You won’t need a ton of weight to feel the work in this exercise.⁣⁣

⚽️ Tuck your chest on your knees as close as possible ⁣⁣

Let’s talk about “SPOTTING” for a minute... 💪🏻 and no I didn’t say #squatting, I mean having someone there behind you on those big ass lifts to give you a boost of confidence and extra support! 🏋🏻‍♀️ .

It can be quiet intimidating squatting (or benching) a heavy barbell, and that is ok! BUT one thing I highly suggest to all my girls in the @evolvedsquad gals is to ask someone for a SPOT or train with a friend so you know someone has your back! 👯‍♀️ If you are a confident person you can always ask a friendly dude at the gym to help or even the local PT. At the end of the day, we are all in this for the same reason... TO GET THE BEST RESULTS POSSIBLE! 💫 .

Anyone else feel like a total boss when they nail a lift?! 👑

This sport requires a lot of repetition to get better. Consistent practice of specific motor patterns will help the lift progress in the long run. .

I am truly enjoying being able to Coach 1:1 and be observant in the moment. Giving feedback in real time and having the lifter understand the why behind the technical execution is big for me.

So this is only slightly more weight at the top than last time, but this time it's more bar weight and less accommodating resistance. 750lbs at the top. 685 + 65 in chain. It was a little grindy-er than I wanted but it felt like it was just getting used to it and not a strength issue. I was really happy with this since 755 was my 3rd attempt at my last meet. I might be able to try for 771 this time around. Groin is 95% .

Today I was reminded of a very important life lesson. Not everyone is going to like or be nice to you, and that’s okay. Sometimes you can be read the wrong way, but at the end of the day you know who you are and where you heart is at. Don’t let anybody ever change that. Be true to yourself, and always be kind to people even when they’re not towards you. Choose love, not hate.
