Here’s a great progression scheme to work your way up:
1. Heavy Band-Assisted Pull Ups
2. Light Band-Assisted Pull Ups
3. Eccentric Pull Ups (cheat on the way up, control the way down)
4. Bodyweight Pull Ups
5. Weighted Pull Ups
.
Pull ups are one of my favorite exercises and I like to play with hand position for variation. Up to 290lbs x 5 (if we count that last rep 😂).

It’s been four months since surgery- pre surgery I didn’t need assistance I was able to do 4- 8 pull-ups this is the first time in which my attempts in a pull-up was successful.
