How are you all holding up? I’m not going to lie; the past few days haven’t been the easiest for me. By nature, I’m a pretty intense introvert. As much as I love being around my favorite people, being in quarantine around the clock with family can wear anyone down (introvert or not). But today was different.
I took the morning slow.
I allowed my children to play video games until their hearts content, and not stress them out with a schedule.
I took time to enjoy my hot coffee.
I read a couple chapters of a novel.
I got my camera out and shot creative flat lays.
I went outdoors and took photos of a perfectly blue sky.
I let everything get messy.
Turns out all I needed was some quiet to hear my own thoughts, and space to be creative without limits.
And the sunshine doesn’t hurt anything either.
Things will go back to normal eventually. Or maybe it’s a new normal. I realize how privileged I am to have the ability to stay home and be safe, and that doesn’t slip by my unnoticed.
Go slow, friends. Life is still happening in the spaces in between. 💕
