Here’s how #AloeVera can impact your #skin!

1. Aloe vera for dry skin - Take some #aloe vera, a pinch of turmeric, a teaspoon of honey, a teaspoon of milk and a few drops of rose water. Blend this mix till you get a paste. Apply it and leave in for about 20 minutes or so.

It's the calorie surplus that causes weight gain, not specifically the carbs.

Most people go low carb to lose weight.  You can lose weight on a high carb OR low carb diet.  However a whole foods high carb, moderate protein, low fat, diet is healthier long-term and more sustainable.  Whole food carbs are what our body is meant to consume.

If you are "restricting", you aren't eating right.
If you are worried about your carbs, you aren't eating right.

Whole food carbohydrates are what our body prefers, that's why we always crave it.  If you don't get enough high quality carbs, you will eventually be craving them and binge on ice cream or other processed sugars 👎🏼

Carbs break down into glucose.  Glucose is the most important fuel source for the body. Our bodies need glucose to be healthy and function optimally.  Due to the fact that we don’t eat every minute of the day, there are times when our blood sugar levels need increasing; that’s when the previously stored glycogen gets broken down back into glucose.

Glucose is our brain's preferential source of energy.  Our brains run on carbs!

If you are restricting carbohydrates, you just don't get it.  You don't get nutrition and how the body works.  It's that simple.

Note: papaya is only regularly available locally as conventional unfortunately 🤷‍♂️ Sprouts, butter leaf lettuce, garlic, tomato, lime, onion, papaya, maple syrup, ginger powder, chipotle powder, curry powder.

BARRITAS SALUDABLES, CRUDIVEGANAS Y GLUTEN FREE 🌱

Ingredientes para dos/tres barritas:
3 dátiles
1 puñado de nueces
3 cdas de semillas de girasol
2 cdas de mantequilla de maní
2 cdas de coco rallado

Procedimiento:
Dejamos en remojo los dátiles descarozados para que se ablanden y las nueces y las semillas de girasol para que se activen por 4 hs mínimo.
Pasado ese tiempo, colamos el agua de remojo y llevamos todos los ingredientes a una procesadora.
Nos mojamos las manos para que no se nos pegue la mezcla y le damos forma de barritas. Llevar mínimo 1 hora al freezer.
Yo las decoré con cacao y coco, pero las pueden bañar en chocolate o lo que a ustedes les guste! Espero que las disfruten ❤️

Avena horneada con moras y chocolate 🍫
Perfecta para desayuno o brunch
INGREDIENTES: ⠀
•1 huevo de linaza (1 cda de linaza @okkosuperfoods + 2 cdas de agua) ⠀
•2 tazas de avena ⠀
•1 cdita de polvo para hornear sin aluminio @bobsredmillmexico ⠀
•1/2 cdita de sal de mar/himalaya ⠀
•2 cdas de canela ⠀
•3 a 4 cdas de coco rallado @a_de_coco (si no tienes puedes omitir) ⠀
•1 1/2 taza de leche de almendras. De preferencia a temperatura ambiente. Yo usé de leche de cacahuate
•3 cdas de aceite de coco extra virgen orgánico @naturabiofoodsus ⠀
•1/4 taza de miel de abeja local o jarabe puro de maple ⠀
•2 cdas de crema de cacahuate natural ⠀
•1 taza de moras mixtas al tiempo o congeladas ⠀
•1/3 a 1/2 taza de chispas de chocolate amargo (si quieres algo con menos azúcar usa chocolate amargo en barra de @lindt 70% a 90% y corta en trocitos) ⠀
•Opcional: Gotitas de stevia pura @sweetleafstevia ⠀
INSTRUCCIONES ⠀
•Precalienta horno a 200 °C ⠀
•Prepara el huevo de linaza, mezcla y deja reposar ⠀
•En un bowl grande mezcla la avena, polvo para hornear, sal, canela y coco rallado ⠀
•En otro bowl mezcla el aceite de coco, la leche, la miel y la crema de cacahuate y mezcla. Si tu leche estaba fría el aceite quedará un poco duro, calienta a fuego bajo unos minutos para que se derrita. Luego agrega a la mezcla el huevo de linaza y revuelve ⠀

Avena horneada con moras y chocolate 🍫 Perfecta para desayuno o brunch INGREDIENTES: ⠀ •1 huevo de linaza (1 cda de linaza @okkosuperfoods + 2 cdas de agua) ⠀ •2 tazas de avena ⠀ •1 cdita de polvo para hornear sin aluminio @bobsredmillmexico ⠀ •1/2 cdita de sal de mar/himalaya ⠀ •2 cdas de canela ⠀ •3 a 4 cdas de coco rallado @a_de_coco (si no tienes puedes omitir) ⠀ •1 1/2 taza de leche de almendras.
