Ever come downstairs after a night on the cocktails to greet total bottle devastation and do 😫 that face? Quite the party last night it seems. .
Only one solution this morning. Thankfully I'd stocked up on @thejollyhog Porky Blacks (which we are all obsessed with). They go so well with @strongrootsuk cauli hash browns and of course the breakfast staples red pepper, mushrooms cooked in butter & rosemary, and tomatoes grilled with olive oil & celery salt. Eggs from my neighbours chickens. Yum. .
If you haven't already tried goosegrass water @homewoodcheeses posted about months ago, get on it! Just pull a few strands, put em in an old bottle with some filtered water overnight and by morning you'll have a gorgeous fresh tasting slightly astringent kidney tonic. Which is lucky really. Doubt my kidneys like me much more than my liver does today. .
I always dilute my fruit juice - so much sugar in fruit juice - as much as Coke. And my body is a temple after all. (No double standards here, no siree). Goosegrass watered orange tastes so much better than neat juice or with standard unflavoured water. Its also fabulously thirst quenching on a scorchio like today. Definitely more than cider. Or lager. Or Pimms. Temple. Temple. Yep, got it. .
