Love is a universal language; the existence of love is not dependent upon specific words or actions it is something which cannot be measured by any tool or seen but only felt within the heart. When was the first time you ever experienced this kind of feeling? Let’s talk about love in this blog.
In this walk of life, there are many firsts that a person comes across for example the first bicycle, the first school, the first pet, etc. all of these have a special value in a person’s memory and heart. We are familiar with the answer ‘when we were born, our mother was our first love’ but the answer we are looking for is that one time you felt something surprising and different for the first time in your life.
Now that you’ve come to the grounds that we wanted you in, let us talk about the first love, the importance of it in your life and what it was supposed to teach you. The very first time you felt something different towards someone, was also the first time you wanted to care for someone in a way that was unknown to you. You were willing to go the extra mile in trying to make it obvious that you had an attraction towards them.
The first love of your life plays a great role in your lives because it teaches you a lot of lessons. Recall that time when you thought that after meeting someone your life felt complete, your days felt bright and the center of your happiness became that one person. There are two outcomes of the first time a person falls in love. If she/he stuck around and married you, then the story is different. The other more common outcome is the first heartbreak when that person leaves. In short your first love can either be a constructive or a very destructive element of your life.
The destructive element comes when you tie all your expectations to that one person and in everything you do, you make them a priority and often sacrifice your own happiness in trying to keep them satisfied. This attitude of give and give goes on for some time until one day you start feeling empty. This emptiness exists because you were so busy filling the other person’s glass that you did not realize that you needed to fill your glass too!
