A is for Albatross!
I made this bad boy using only cardboard, scissors, paint and hot glue. I may add string and 2 craft sticks to turn him into a puppet since T is really into puppetry these days.
A few fun facts from the blog “Easy Science for Kids”
•Albatross look like giant seagulls
•They rarely land
•They prefer remote islands to crowded beaches
•They have HUGE wings, reaching 11 feet!
•They can glide for hours by floating on a breeze
•Albatross moms lay 1 egg and both parents take turns sitting on it and caring for the hatchling
•Albatross eat fish + squid and drink salty sea water
•They follow boats to eat garbage 😭
