Look what I got! I am upgrading. Often, things were so tight, there wasn’t any left to invest in myself.
Sure, there’s still a budget, but I am part of the equation.
This the 2nd year of having a goal of being able to do a headstand. Ultimately, I want to do a handstand.
It’s intimidating to ‘say out loud’ that I want to achieve this goal, with some fluency. But here’s the thing, I could use some support. I’ve felt stronger. But it’s a good goal.
Let me reminds us all how to decide if we’re making a wish list versus a goal.
I guess, the question isn’t only’what do you want to achieve’ but also, ‘what are you willing to do to manifest that achievement?’
🗣So, here you go:
👉🏾”SMART” goals are:
Specific: Well defined, clear, and unambiguous
Measurable: With specific criteria that measure your progress towards the accomplishment of the goal
Achievable: Attainable and not impossible to achieve
Realistic: Within reach, realistic, and relevant to your life purpose
Timely: With a clearly defined timeline, including a starting date and a target date. The purpose is to create urgency. (Corporatefinanceinstitute.com)
I’ll let you know how it goes. 🤸🏾♀️🧘🏿♀️🤸🏾♀️🧘🏿♀️🤸🏾♀️
