When this is all over, what is going to be your quarantine memory?
You know, that first memory that’s going to pop in your head when years from now your memory gets triggered.
For instance, when I was a teenager I got chickenpox at the same time as my sister. We were both locked in the house for a good part of our summer. Not going to lie it was awful! But the first thing I think of is not how miserable we both were, it’s how much fun we had going to sleep late because we couldn’t fall asleep, scratching each other’s back, watching movies and most importantly all the time we spent together. That part was amazing! The itchiness not so much.
So, why am I telling you this?
Because the situation we’re living in is pretty challenging. But it also presents an opportunity to do something great. Something we will remember years from now.
Personally and judging by the past two weeks, I think I’ll see myself working at home with my two doggies sleeping next to me. I’ll also want to remember that during quarantine I pivoted in my business and above all how I was able to help other mamas.
