When too good is too bad
Have you ever thought that a process of discussing climate change-related topics in comfortable rooms with A/C and bottles of water somewhere in Paris or Madrid is ambivalent? I think so. So, I came up with an idea.
I have a serious suggestion for COP meetings: conduct a conference in one of these cities below. In brackets, you will find data on air pollution. According to @who , national air-quality standards for PM (particle pollution) equals10 mcg/m3. In these cities, something goes really wrong.
🌁 Gurugram, India (135.8 mcg/m3)
🌁 Agra, India (460 mcg/m3)
🌁 Bamenda, Cameroon (130 mcg/m3)
🌁 Lucknow, India (115.7 mcg/m3)
🌁 Delhi, India (988 mcg/m3)
🌁 Patna, India (119.7 mcg/m3)
🌁 Varanasi, India (722 mcg/m3)
🌁 Gaya, India (149 mcg/m3)
🌁 Faridabad, India (250 mcg/m3)
🌁 Kanpur, India (173 mcg/m3)
Just imagine how the understanding of the current situation will radically shift thanks to the individual experience of politicians and bankers when they experience the reddish smog in Delhi or the exhausting sun in Cameroon. Maybe the decision-making process will speed up? 🤔
