375 lbs. 2 Sets of 5 Reps. This was my 2nd and last Set.
Squats never felt good even during the Warm Ups.. Not sure if it was bcus of the Heavy Bench but I never was comfortable and didn't get what I hoping to get.. Played it safe and didn't over do it. Till the next Squat Session.

🍑 Workout Wednesday 🍑

Squats! Everyone does them, but I wanted to show you how you can mix it up a bit 💪🏻

Beginners and advanced alike can alter these movements with whatever weights you have on hand!
.
🍑1) Raised heel squats: Elevating the heels increases range of motion at the hip and improves range of motion at the knee. They also help to engage the quads more. Place plates or whatever solid surface you have under your heels but you goes still touch the floor.
.
🍑2) Foam Roller Wall Squats: This mimics a leg press in my opinion. I could get a greater depth to my squat too. Place a foam roller just above your bum and stand against a wall at an angle. The roller will roll up your spine as you lower to the ground.

🍑3) Sumo Squats: This variation engages the inner thigh, as well as the glutes, quads, hamstrings, hip flexors, and calves. Stand with your feet wider than hip width apart and squat as normal.

🍑4) Front Squats: Great for if you have barbell during lockdown. An awesome compound exercise engaging the quads, upper back, glutes and abdominals. To front rack the barbell, rest the bar on your shoulders/front delts and upper chest NOT on the collarbone. Keep the elbows high as you lower into a squat. 🍑5) Goblet Squats: These are a real full body exercise, activating the quads, calves, glutes, core strength, arms and grip strength. Using a dumbbell or a inward facing grip curl bar, hold the weight close to your chest and lower into a squat, keeping the weight in the same place.

I am working on ass to grass squats on a frequent basis.  I worked up to squatting atleast 205 lbs on a daily basis for atleast 2 weeks.  I want to see how this will feel and if i will get stronger faster this way or if i am better doing it twice a week.
I am using pad as i want the squat to feel harder plus im doing high bar squat daily.  Using pad does increase chance of neck pain so it is a weakness i will address.  It is easier to put neck in vulnerable position with pad on and did get neck strain a few times going heavy with and without pad.
I worked up to single 255 lbs.  I attempted it 3 days in a row  This workout i attempted it twice.  I finished off with cheating rack pulls above the knee 815 lbs.  I doubled the speed of rack pulls during editing to fit the whole video in 1 minute.  I was taking my time to do 4 reps to make sure i try to initiate lift across the tripod of my entire feet .

I am working on ass to grass squats on a frequent basis. I worked up to squatting atleast 205 lbs on a daily basis for atleast 2 weeks. I want to see how this will feel and if i will get stronger faster this way or if i am better doing it twice a week. I am using pad as i want the squat to feel harder plus im doing high bar squat daily. Using pad does increase chance of neck pain so it is a weakness i will address. It is easier to put neck in vulnerable position with pad on and did get neck strain a few times going heavy with and without pad. I worked up to single 255 lbs.
