Pitfalls of lifting with machines:
I love lifting with machines💪🏼. I am so grateful to have one where I live during this time when most gyms are shut down.
However, there are some pitfalls that come with the use of these machines.
According to fitness19.com “because users may feel safe to lift heavier weight there is an increased risk of injury.”❌. These machines also restrict your range of motion compared to dumbbells/barbells.
So make sure you guys are lifting appropriate weight for your experience and weight level. Also don’t be afraid to make multiple weight adjustments until you find that perfect range🔥. Someone I look up to @fraserwilsonfit , has great form when he uses weight machines. I recommend looking up his videos if you need help figuring out the proper form for an exercise.
