There have been a few ‘10 facts about me’ recently soo I thought I’d do one for any new followers 😄

1 • I’m half Welsh and half French, although my French ‘half’ is actually (by blood) 3/4 Italian and 1/4 French 🤯 but I’ve always lived in England. If you’re already confused, I don’t blame you.

2 • Because of this, I’m technically ‘bilingual’ and can speak French BUT I’ve always had a huge lack of confidence with it so I hate speaking it. I haven’t spoken French properly for a while now, so I struggle to think of words and my accent is terrible, but I can understand others. If I overheard two French people having a conversation, I would understand it all.

3 • I have a huge family; 1 ‘full’ sister, 5 half-brothers and sisters on my Dad’s side and 5 step-brothers and sisters on my Mum’s side. Christmas is interesting 🤣

4 • I am very very introverted and not great at socialising. Even 30 minutes of socialising feels quite draining to me and I guess I find it difficult. My job (which I love) means I’m constantly socialising, so when I’m not working I tend to just want to be on my own to regain my energy 🙈

5 • Except for Morocco and Egypt, I’ve never been out of Europe. A few places on my bucket list are Thailand, The Seychelles, Cuba and New York (pretty generic but hey ho). However, I am terrified of flying and I think this has always put me off visiting long-haul destinations.

6 • I’ve never broken a bone (touch wood), but I did do my ACL whilst on a ski season 5 years ago. It was operated on 4 years ago and the recovery was one of the most challenging things I’ve been through.

7 • Before deciding to do ski seasons (I did 5 winters), I nearly went to Cardiff uni to study English Language and Marketing. Back then, I hated sports and didn’t do any exercise. Nearly 10 years later and I’ve kind of come full circle. I became a personal trainer and now do business management for my gym, a lot of which involves social media, language & marketing. It’s funny how things turn out.

8 • Most people are probably going to hate me for this but....I don’t like animals. Growing up, we didn’t have any pets and now I’m scared of most animals.

You have to know your worth and your value just as you are right now. Because neither worth or value are dependent upon what your body looks like or how much it weighs.⁣

And also because if you don’t work on the inside stuff (aka mindset) while working to change the outside, you’ll reach your goal weight and it won’t be enough.⁣

You’ll tell yourself you need to lose more, you need to work harder, you need to sacrifice more.⁣
⁣
And after months of agonizing over every single food choice and busting your butt with your workouts, you’ll feel like you’ve nothing left to give. So you’ll throw in the towel and you’ll lose all the results you worked so hard for.⁣

And I know that sounds harsh and super negative, but I’ve just seen it happen so many times- to myself and other women in my life- I can’t not address it.⁣

Je les fait au moment qui me convient et je choisis le type et la durée selon mon humeur et ma disponibilité : pilates, yoga, ballon, musculation, 20, 30, 40 minutes ou plus. First clip: featuring hair malfunction. 95 for 2 sets of 4 paused, aiming for 6 in a row next week🙌🏼 Pauses could be longer, need to keep upper back a bit tighter too🤪 
Second clip: 90 for 6, pauses much more defined than last week and overall looking cleaner🤩

Aujourd'hui un petit STORY TIME 🚀
Pendant tout un temps j'ai été végétarienne, par la suite j'ai réintégré petit à petit le poisson et récemment j'ai réintroduit la viande (même si au final j'en mange peut-être deux fois semaines). Tout ça pour dire que je continue de privilégier une alimentation pauvre en viande animale 🐿️

📌MAIS ALORS ? Tu manges des substituts de viande ? C'est encore plus mauvais ! 
Hummm pas vraiment, enfin plutôt il faut savoir QUOI prendre ! ✔️

📎Je ne vous conseille en AUCUN cas de manger ce que vous trouver sous barquette plastique dans les grands magasins du style "faux cordon bleu", "faux haché" etc..
.
↪️ Ce que je vous conseille plutôt c'est de vous rédiger vers des magasins comme "BIO PLANET" qui vous proposent au rayon boucherie (ET OUI !) tout un assortiment vegan de "viandes" faite à base de tofu, de seitan, de potimarron, de quinoa, etc.. Et BIEN D'AUTRES ! 😍

🔴Donc pour conclure si vous voulez diminuer les viandes/poissons etc.. N'oubliez pas que ces substituts sont 10 fois meilleurs que tout autre subsitut présent en grande surface ! . ✨Ne vous laissez pas avoir par le packaging choisissez du FRAIS ET DU BON 😋 .
PS : Évidemment les substituts ne sont pas obligatoires étant donné que de nombreux légumes, graines etc.. Peuvent nous fournir nos apports quotidiens en prot 😜

-Il y a de ça maintenant 5 ans, j'ai atteint le vénérable poids de 135 Kg à l'age de 17 ans, s'ensuivit alors tous les problèmes de santé qui vont avec (obésité morbide, boulimie…)
Je n'ai jamais été sportif, et j'ai commencé ma transformation avec la musculation au lycée, j'ai eu des résultats très rapide dûs à mon investissement et ma volonté.
À mesure que je progressais, j'encourageais les autres à s'entraîner avec moi, à manger sainement. Je me suis alors rendu compte que ça me passionnait d'entraîner les gens et leur apprendre à rendre leur corps meilleur.
J'ai alors décidé en 2019 de passer mon brevet d'éducateur sportif.

Body Dysmorphia🌹

Body Dysmorphia is when someone dislikes their body or a part of it which can affect their daily lives. 
Don't get me wrong, everyone has a little something they don't like about themselves, that's just normal but it's not something we tend to worry about every day.
Within my ED I didn't care too much about my appearance however I did show the common trait of a body dysmorphic ED, such as pinching or checking certain body parts to ensure they haven't gotten "fat".
I became more concerned about what I looked like in recovery, this is when I started comparing myself to fitness models on insta or just other people I know, silly really.
Even now I still have trouble with my appearance, probably more than others do but nothing to the same extent as it used to be. Things take time and one day you will stop worrying about the silly things that used to scare you the most.
Love yourself for who you are, you are beautiful🌼 ---------x---------

I have begun @shreddy program and feeling happy with my progress, for a long time I've thought of going back to how I was in my ED but NO! I've realised that is not what I want, I want to be healthy and appreciate my body for what it can do.
@shreddy is no more than 30 minutes strength and conditioning, little equipment workouts, so nothing too crazy but I'm loving it. I'll keep you guys posted on my progress💪🏻 Hope you have a beautiful day🌸
