It’s taken a while but I finally feel myself slowly but surely settling into a new routine. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m a total creature of habit. Little changes here and there are ok, but a million changes at once really overwhelm me and make me feel like I’ve lost all control. Can anyone else relate?
I’ve been working slowly but surely to regain control of different areas of my life, by starting with little things: organizing my new art space and apartment, labeling and categorizing, trying to plan ahead, slowly getting back into my workout routine. I fail several times every day and every week - but as my friend @becoming_dr_fine put it so gracefully in one of her recent posts, sometimes we have to focus on the little victories we experience in a day. We can nit pick and get frustrated and annoyed with ourselves all day long for not getting everything right — but what kind of life do we create for ourselves when we do that?
