Apart from my love for creating jewelry, I also enjoy planting.🌱 I started 2 years ago. Ornamental plants are so therapeutic to me.💚 Mid last year, my husband went home with a branch of a plant which he knew I really wanted to have. The branch had no roots but with several leaves sprouting out from it, I cut and planted two groups of leaves that I assumed would likely grow. That long brownish branch with neither leaves nor roots left, I thought, was already lifeless. But it was sturdy so, I decided to make it as a post for my lovely evergreen plant which has been becoming taller. I simply tucked it in the soil beside the evergreen, and then focused on the two that I planted.
Christmas came, and I was surprised to see new leaves sprouting out from that 'lifeless branch'! It had no roots, and to think it's not even receiving enough light that it actually needed! One of my everyday miracles. The first word that came to my mind was HOPE.🌿 Never lose hope. Never say never! Beautiful things come in unexpected ways.✨ Encouraging thoughts run through my mind whenever I see the new sprout. I consider it as a Christmas gift from God to me.❤ I talk to these plants, and they seem to try to relay messages back to me, too! Especially these uncertain times... While some of my plants may have dried leaves, but a lot have buds sprouting out everywhere! Perhaps, what it wants to say is that despite everything that's happening now... Have hope, never give up, and expect only the best from God! When we hold on to faith and hope, anything is possible.🙏 #thursdaythoughts #thankfulthursday - 19 minutes ago
