Its Friday and yes that makes me happy but even as I wrote it  I am thinking Anddd.....😄😄
I realised it's just a psychological good feel but otherwise I will be doing what I always do. I will workout, I will be studying, I will be doing my admin, enjoying what I am doing. So Friday just puts a nice punctuation mark at the end of the week. For some people it could be nights out planned with friends  parties, a weekend away. I think it's just good that we challenge how we look at life and how we react to things. Even what is considered "normal". Like getting excited because its Friday. Understand associations and how it impacts our mood. Certain associations bring good feelings others dont. Friday is associated with fun so it brings good feelings. Monday is associated with work so most people dread Monday or moan about it. Something to think about. 🤔🤔

🔴 Cupping Marks 🔴

The most common misunderstanding regarding one of the most powerful and beneficial after effects of Cupping, is the marks that sometimes result.
When injuries occur deep in the muscle, bleeding often occurs causing deep bruises. There will also be edema in the area involving the coagulation of sticky proteins. The combining presence of these elements usually results in stagnation of circulation to the area - resulting in pain, dysfunction, and chronic conditions.
The vacuum formed by Cupping draws up the old non-circulating stagnant blood and sticky fluids from the area, bringing them up to the surface and away from the injury so that healthy free circulation can be restored to the affected area, thus creating space for oxygen, living cells and nutrients for faster recovery.
Where there is dead, static blood, lymph, cellular debris, pathogenic factors, and toxins present in the body, Cupping can leave marks which indicates that the stagnation or disease has been moved from the deeper tissue layers to the surface.

After much time off, I'm so grateful I CAN! I've been running with @thefreshlyminted socks and my longer second toe/blister problems are gone!

It is not about what is wrong with that person, it is what happened to that person? So many events can cause us to feel stuck, to feel numb, to experience emotional pain. The real question to be asked is what happened on the deeper level to cause your anxiety. Remember anxiety is a symptom of a bigger issue. And that bigger issue is trauma.

Day 8: Intensive therapy: I was trembling all day.  Anxious.  Shaky.  It was a four art piece kind of a day. But, today in an attempt to make a connection with the group member who reminds me of my abuser, and who thus terrifies me, I asked him about cars as he had mentioned he worked with motors.  At some point, in my anxious attempt at conversation, I mentioned my car was having an issue with its brakes.  He immediately perked up and started troubleshooting,  He told me he knew exactly what it was, and after group finished for the day even followed me to the parking ramp and popped the hood and fixed the problem then and there.  Today, his caring actions took the power away from my abuser.  Today, his actions made me feel safer.  Because he may share some mannerisms that remind me of getting hurt, but he is a good person. There are good people. Today, I healed a bit.  I’m still trembling and scared but I’m not scared of him. Because he took 5 minutes from his day to tighten a loose valve for me.  Feeling grateful for simple human connections today. Feeling proud of myself for trying to connect instead of shutting down. I am giving myself grace tonight.
