Isolation is tough, time feels out of sync, cabinfever setting in...
We are in unsure times, we are home schooling, distant from family and friends, fighting, working, the routine has changed 🤯🤯
But it's not all doom and gloom!! Take time to learn new things... Check my editing it's definitely a work in progress 😂😂 but progress I'm making 💪💪
Cherish time we used to cry out for with family, set goals and challenges, try new things, read, study.... Talk 😱😱

Went on a walk today outside at #jfgregorypark instead staying inside. Weather was perfect, Bella has a great time, and I was able to spend some quality time with @wrecklessgenetics.  Lately when we hang out it’s a lot of watching movies (which I sleep through lol) and waiting for our next meal. So this was something fun and kept us moving .

2/3 - barbell french press slight incline SS barbell curls
4 - chest supported dumbbell lateral raises

Desde que as academias fecharam, me comprometi em fazer 100 flexões + 50 barras por dia + cardio (intensidade depende dos lixos 🤷🏻‍♂️😂) .

Confesso que não é nada fácil realizar barra fixa estando acima dos 90kg, as primeiras 15 estão aí, progredindo... 🤯☠️ .

Espero que esta pandemia acabe logo e que todos nós possamos viver nossas vidas normalmente. 🙌🏽🙏🏽 .

They give same muscle activity with less chances of injury. As you can’t hit the gym. Add this in your workout regime. 
It even stabilises your core and give better muscle activation and can focus on all major muscle groups.

Short or Long rest periods 🔥

How long you rest between sets can be paramount in the results and adaptations you are aiming for. Rest periods can last between 30 seconds up to 5 or so minutes. Shorter rest periods are amazing for a bunch of reasons. They allow for a lot of work to be done in a short period of time, they metabolically stress the body, they are great for getting a pump, they surely increase the intensity of your workouts, and they are great for building muscular endurance and some hypertrophy.

Now, longer rest periods (2 to 3 minutes for me) are amazing as well. They enable you to keep the same intensity and quality of repetitions each set due to the increased recovery time, they allow for a greater amount of total volume (e.g. being able to life 4 sets of 5 perfect reps versus lifting 4 sets of 5433 dude to fatigue in shelter reps), and they allow the most mechanical tension on a muscle and body throughout the workout which makes them ideal and optimal for both strength and hypertrophy.

So is one better than the other? Not necessarily. Your rest times depend more on your goals and what you want from the workout and less of which one is inherently better than the other.
