"Picture you success" is a practice I have been implementing since 2012. When I was living in absolute poverty, the only resource I had was my mind. I had an avg of less than maybe $200 - $300, no credit, no car, low income, no assets, and little support from family. "Absolute poverty" means that you are lacking in one or more of the basic necessities for living. If we go far enough back, I could tell you about semi-homelessness (sleeping in a car and sometimes budget weekly's) and a lack of food. The greatest blessing I received was knowledge of self development. I learned that I could picture a better future, and if I did it in vivid enough detail then I could program my mind to guide me into the manifestation of those conceptions. 2019 was the most surreal year of my life. I had many moments where, in the midst of the moment, I was snapped out of reality by the realization that I was living exact moments that I had visualized and in many cases had written down. Getting out of poverty was a long journey, and there were countless moments that I felt like giving up and other moments when I actually did give up after failures and extended periods of being surrounded by hopelessness. I'm just grateful that I didn't give up. And I know that exercises like this empowered me to change my life. I recommend visualization to anyone, no matter how little you have right now.
