What comes easy won't last long, and what lasts long won't come easy 🔥 .
Sometimes I think my journey has taken a lot longer than others. But when I think back over the past few years, I wouldn't change anything because I know I had to have certain experiences to get to the point I'm at now. I had to learn that the quick fixes and binge diets don't work. I had to learn that hating or starving myself didn't work. I had to learn how to be disciplined, consistent and dedicated. I had to learn how to prioritise my needs and how to love myself (still working on this one every day!). In particular, I've had to learn that I don't need to look a certain way, I just need to be healthy (and maybe strong 🤔🏋🏻♀️). .
All this learning takes a freaking long time! But if I hadn't experienced all those things, I wouldn't have the drive and determination I have today and I wouldn't work as hard as I do to maintain my health and fitness. .
We can all be so impatient at times. We want results yesterday. But results that come quickly usually disappear even quicker. Accept and embrace the fact that you will probably have to work hard and work every day to achieve your goals. This isn't a bad thing! Obstacles are put in our way to see if what we want is really worth fighting for 👊🏻 .
