Trauma leaves us feeling fragmented. Trauma leaves us feeling disconnected from ourselves, others, and our work.
In order to deal with the pain of our past, we typically push down or avoid the hard parts of our stories. But when we turn away, we cannot be truly whole.
Wholeness happens when we find the courage to no longer disown the painful parts of our stories but face them with courage and compassion. 🌱Wholeness looks like compassion towards our brokenness rather than criticism. 🌱 Wholeness feels like peace and calm on the inside rather than feeling stressed and panicked. 🌱 Wholeness says, life is about purpose, meaning, and connection. 🌱 Wholeness breeds vulnerability, strength, courage, and connection.
Instead of running away today, take 1 minute to pause and ask yourself, “what am I running from?” Because the first step to wholeness is to slow down and face ourselves with courage.
