Ok if you followed my story
You will see yesterday
was a LONG day... Painted the ceiling—
Yes, paint does get flung up there
not on purpose!
Then, only got to priming
blobs of paint on walls
and did not actually repaint all the walls.
I had to accept
the everything doesn’t have to be perfect
and remember that I had told myself
this from the get go.
I have come a long way
as a recovering perfectionist
and I keep getting more lessons
to JUST LET IT GO
or as Leah Goard says
“take imperfect perfect action.” So at 5;30pm I did.
I chose to not paint the walls
(Please do no look closely as you will see
how I am so not a house painter!) and began hanging the studio,
which more or less covers up
the many imperfections!! And I was able to hang some
of my big paper pieces
which I just love
and hope you will too!
I did stop at some point
have a shower and attempt
to wash the paint outta my hair,
and put my feet up,
but ended up back out there
in my pj’s taking time to move things about
and did not get to bed till VERY late.
Dan came out to the studio this am
and helped me with a few extra things
but it is feeling pretty settled
However, I have been known
to move and switch things
at the last minute though!
The labels still need to be created,
house cleaned and food prepped.
And I am sure there is something else
that I am forgetting
Hope to see ya all tomorrow

nibble on goodies
and enjoy a feast for your eyes! Xo
