Upper Body circuit using two light dumbbells (easy to substitute with tins/bottles of wine/cordial etc) 💪

30s per exercise x 4 rounds
1) SA bicep curl into double
2) Hammer curl into narrow press
3) SA lat raise into double

6) SA diagonal raises into front raise

360 rep upper body workout.

This is great with bands but if we don’t have bands we can swap the banded exercises for: (triceps dips, incline pushups and wide stance press ups) 
_
You’re going to do 3 rounds which will add up to a total of 360 reps. It is nice quick and easy. Will burn some cals and get a sweat on. 
Try to rest for 20 seconds max between each exercise with a longer rest of 45 seconds at the end of each round. 
_
Round 1) 30 reps.
Round 2) 20 reps.
Round 3) 10 reps.

1) Push-ups 
2) Banded Row
3) Walk outs 
4) Banded Tricep Ext.
5) Burpees
6) Banded Chest Press

WARM UP - 1 lap of your block/road. 10 press ups.

Week 10000 in Lockdown and I’ve never been happier. lt really has been a blessing for me. I was in a bad place in January, off work for the full of February with stress then we ended up in lockdown. -

For those wanting to build muscle there is a good talking point on training styles and frequencies 
You might often hear people say they do the Bro Split or Upper/Lower, even Full Body

There is merit to these types of training but a more important question when it comes to muscle building is how much volume you do per muscle…

Not in the sense of total tonnage moved but more show many hard sets where done on that muscle…

Here are some guidelines on training frequencies for muscle growth👇
👉In a session it appears that the more sets you do the more likely you’re to build muscle…however this is likely to have a drop off as you approach your maximum session volume (this is different)
👉It appears that training a muscle group two times a week is better than once per week, but training 2-3 or even 3-4 is magically better gains, however the main benefit of higher frequencies is more volume… 👉If overall volume is the same per week but one person trains a muscle twice per week and the other four times per week there wouldn't be any difference in muscle gain
👉For the majority of people doing 10-20 hard sets per muscle group in a week is”optimal” for muscle growth and if you split it over two or more sessions per week will result in greater gains than doing all sets in one session per week

Of late my left shoulder has been feeling a lot of pain in it when I’ve been doing pushups on my toes⁣⁣

So I decided to strip it back to being on my knees & slow it down to find the source of the pain and correct it to continue building the strength in my chest ⁣⁣
