Just a Phase
Moonrise over Dragon’s Head, in Victoria Australia.
Sometimes all you need is a little help with some natural lighting from Mother Nature. Taken a few weeks back during a waning crescent moon 🌙 at about 20%. I’ve been wanting to get a shot here for a while but with all the amazing shots I’ve seen, I was really after something different. Just happened to be chilling at home when I decided to check the weather, tide and moon phase out of the blue to see if things would line up. Needless to say, I packed up my gear and headed out on a whim. I actually saw clouds the entire drive until I got here around 2am, it was perfectly clear. Watching that moon slowly rise above the horizon from that reef shelf was a sight to see with the sound of the running water all around me. Fun to just be an observer in those moments. Hoping everyone is doing well and staying healthy! 🙏🏼❤️
