2010 -> Hassan Whiteside (Swipe to see February highlights)
Bio: The @sacramentokings drafted Hassan Whiteside with the 33rd pick. His NBA career didn't start quite well, as he appeared on 19 games for the Kings in 2 seasons. After being waved by them in 2012, Hassan played overseas for 2 years before returning to the NBA, this time signing with the @miamiheat . He stayed with the Heat until 2019, averaging 13.8 ppg, 11.7 rpg and 2.4 bpg. Currently, Whiteside is playing for the @trailblazers and has started in all 61 games he has played before the season got suspended. He is averaging 16.3 ppg, 14.2 rpg and 3.1 bpg in 31 mpg.
Why I picked him: I picked Hassan cause I feel like he's had the best career by far among the other 2nd round picks. Yes, he didn't start well but look at him now. He's a monster in rebounding and an amazing blocker, while also being a main player for the Blazers this year. Also, he's like 30 years old so he does have a couple of years left to put up more amazing numbers.
Other Notable 2nd Round Picks:
Nemanja Bjelica (SF/PF, Sacramento Kings)
Lance Stephenson (SF/SG, Liaoning Flying Leopards) - 20 minutes ago
