From a strength training perspective, an INTELLIGENT AND COMPREHENSIVE approach to progressive overload (getting stronger over time) is one of the best ways to make the average jack injury resilient.💪🏻 And yes like the saying goes every sport has its injuries. But the benefits far outweigh the negative aspects.
And obviously you need to supplement your training with mobility and posture related work. That’s where the intelligent and comprehensive approach comes in!
I love strength training and I use it to supplement every other sport I participate in🏋🏼♂️. Now don’t get a picture of a massive bodybuilder or powerlifter in your head. They participate on a another level and most of them obviously step over the line in terms of long term health and functionality😳
The picture I want you to get is an average jack/jill, with a well built and proportionate physique, who is strong yet functional, with great posture. Who feels confident because he/she looks good, has little to no pain and feels comfortable in his/her own body❗️❗️ What benefits have you gotten out of your training?
