Deadlifts and lunges are staples in my programs. Too many people forget to work their posterior chain as a main movement (instead opting for curl machines) — the deadlift allows athletes to apply force into the ground while strengthening their hamstrings, glutes, and core. In addition, single leg variations of a squat (i.e. lunges and split squats) provide a different range of motion/ stability needed that will inevitable transfer onto the field/court.

Another leg session trying to stay consistent with the band resistance on my front Squats,  after 2 sets of 100kg  I proceeded to 3 sets with the 120kg for 8 reps.  The final set trying 125kg and happy that I had couple of good depth with my Squats.... Staying consistent never easy  but it's fun chasing your own goals.... Have patience and enjoy the journey, you will succeed if you keep to your plan... Warm up is as serious to me as the workout is. Consistency with this has been a major factor in helping keep my injuries to a minimum. 
Don't skip it and don't confuse a cardio machine for 10 minutes as an efficient warm-up for the muscles you are about to use when you lift.

Resistance bands are awesome for lots of different things. They are easy to use, easy to store and come in a huge variety of sizes & resistance strength. You can also get a whole workout with them anywhere that you go.
Now I definitely need to work on my stretching and flexibility!

Restricting meals used to feel so good and so empowering. I felt strong and in control when I would restrict. Powerful . It felt safe and I liked the sense of control I felt from it . I grew up not being good at anything. Being picked last. I was the tallest one . One who developed earlier then my friends. The hardest but BEST thing I have ever done was give my body what it’s been asking for after years of damage and disrespecting it. .
Fuel. Food. Freedom . Love . It’s felt  scary AF and I felt like I was losing control. Giving in. Losing the battle . It took me a long time to finally see that i was harming my beautiful body . To this day, sometimes I miss that control. But I would not give up how far I have come for anything in the world. I love fueling my body. Resting my body. Listening to my body. Honoring my body. I realized my true strength came when I finally let go. When I started treating my body the way it deserved all along . Not every day is easy and sometimes I want to cry and I let myself. But then I get back on my 2 feet and move forward. Because we deserve it. To be our own best friend.
