I figured since I get asked a lot about my fitness/ Life Journey I should actually post a before and after photo.
The photo on the Left was after I moved to Miami and was Introduced to Miami Lifestyle (late night drinking ) and LATIN food.
My dad is a chef so you know I had to TRY everything!! I slowly started gaining weight over the span of 2 years. I was MADLY in Love,working A lot, and Eating irregularly. ⚡️•Lets go back to the Start• (I've had set backs, like everyone)
I was finally diagnosed in 2010 after YEARS of stomach pains and miss diagnoses. I was allergic to Gluten, Dairy, Eggs, and Soy. At the time I was about to Start College Softball and I was Always in Pain.
After going to a Holistic Doctor that told me change my Diet to more Raw, Healthy foods.
After years of YO-Yoing with my weight and my emotions I got sick of it, literally.
I think my body started to reject more foods, and ALCOHOL, so I wanted to see how my body would feel closer to Mother Nature.
I started juicing (Not as a meal replacement, but to get more vitamins)
ALOt of fruits and Veggies, Snacks and Fish.
I get hungry if I don't eat, but after a while you're metabolism speeds up and you just Need food. I WAS Never like that. Haha •Hiking, and at home workouts are my jam! I hate people starring at me at the gym, Pump some Iron and stare at yourself in the mirror. •So after years of weight struggle in middle school and highschool I have seriously accepted that You have to do what is right for YOUR MIND, BODY, and and SOUL!
If people are telling you you are to Fat, skinny, Short, Tall = Fuck them!
They are NOT in your head at the end of the day.....You are, you have to be ok with yourself and your thoughts when you attempt to sleep at night!!! I'm learning that, and I'm trying to grow too!! •If you knew how powerful your Negative thoughts were, you would Try to never think like that again.

To the left I was 8 months pregnant, 205-210 pounds, tired with high blood pressure from the rapid weight gain.⁣⠀

On the right, (6 months later) 160 pounds, full of energy and no longer hypertensive! It’s been difficult to follow keto recently with all the Christmas cookies, tamales and candy around me and yes I have slipped up a couple times but I jump right back into eating low carb and I feel wonderful when I’m back in ketosis!⁣⠀

I ended up making it into my goal outfit just in time for my birthday today!!! I remember when I first put this on and thinking this will never fit again, and now 8.5 months later it fits! I felt pretty and confident for my birthday! 😍

I also wanted to get to 90kgs by my birthday and I’m 90.5kgs! So taking that as a win!!! Photo with my beautiful niece!

Edit to add my start weight was 151.2kgs (333lb). 60.7kgs loss (133lb).

Yup, that was me on the left. 1 Month Keto (7/4/2017) Using my stomach as a table for everything when I would sit down. And also, that tank top, I had to cut slits on the side so I could fit into it. Life Hack. 😂
I remember when I first used the pic on the left for a progress picture when I first started this account and got a comment from some dude (his profile was private of course) saying “holy rolls!” I’m just saying this because I know there are a lot of people who are scared or embarrassed to post their progress pictures, but in the whole year and some months that I’ve had this account there’s only been one rude comment that I’ve gotten and it was that one from that dude. Don’t be afraid to show off your progress. You worked hard for it. Fuck what those trolls think. They’re too busy drinking Mt. Dew and yelling “MAAAA THE MEATLOAF!”
I used to be that person that was scared of posting progress pictures, but the keto community is my safe space. And y’all are the shit. So thank you for always being so supportive. 💜

You can’t expect results by continue to live life the way you are living it – change never happens in your comfort zone. I know our comfort zones are…well…comfortable. Many of our habits we’ve depended on our entire life so it can be extremely difficult to walk away from them But, if you want life to be different then you are going to have to do different. You have to be open to trying new things and getting rid of the old habits that have held you back. Once you can do this then you’ll be ready for big life changes to happen.

Losing weight goes beyond eating less and moving more. Of course, those are the basics. But if you’re serious about losing weight then change needs to go much deeper. Recognize your own bullshit and see how far you go! .

How many times a day do you compare yourself to others here on Instagram or other social media’s? I know I do it🤷🏻‍♀️ how can I not? We live in a world where perfection is obtainable for a certain price. We live in a world full of filters and photoshop too🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s almost impossible to not fall into the “compare and despair” rabbit hole. We’re human and it happens. What’s important is that we be made aware that not everything is what it seems. You’re seeing people at their absolute best and you’re usually seeing their successes and not their failures. Now, my loose skin is no failure! I earned every bit of this skin:) Do I wish I had a tight, toned body with no wiggly, jiggly goodness on it, uhhh yea! I’m freakin human:) of course that’s what I wish I had but it’s not my reality and to get that I’d have to put myself through a very tough surgery and right now I don’t feel that to be necessary to go through because my skin doesn’t bother me THAT much🤷🏻‍♀️ this doesn’t mean I’m not completely in love with my body because I am🖤 skin and all:) I personally think my skin is a badge of honor and this girl has no problem rocking it. I have days where I want it gone but then I remember “Becca, stop chasing perfection and be happy in the now with the beautiful, healthy body you now have.” Sure, my reality isn’t as beautiful as some other peoples but it sure does tell one hell of a beautiful story about a girl who fought and overcame something she thought was impossible. So today I won’t compare my flaws to someone else’s “success reel” I will embrace every inch of myself with a freaking smile from ear to ear because I’m a badass woman who earned every inch of her reality🖤

Вкусная цветная капуста, запечённая с картофелем😍😍😍
⠀
Ингредиенты:
1 средняя цветная капуста
⠀
Для соуса:
3 яйца
100 мл молока
2 столовые ложки муки
1 десертная ложка соли
1 чайная ложка молотого красного перца
⠀
Дополнительно:
сыр чеддер
картофель
⠀
Приготовление:
Капусту разобрать на соцветия. Посолить и отварить до мягкости.
Смешать Ингредиенты для соуса.
Слить волу с капусты и остудить.
Окунуть капусту в соус и выложить на противень.
Картофель нарезать брусочками, добавить тимьян, оставшийся соус, перемешать и выложить в противень к капусте.
Выпекать в течении 15 минут. Достать из духовки, посыпать сыром и ещё в духовку буквально на пару минут, чтобы сыр расплавился. Приятного аппетита!
