Instead of my usual nighttime workout, I'm settling in "early" for me, & catching some extra snuggles with this guy☺️Tomorrow, my hubby is having back surgery to repair a herniated disc. To think he'd be undergoing surgery just four months after mine.. is mind-blowing! 🤯 But here we are. Before, during, and after my surgery, my husband was my support system, my sanity, my shoulder (& chest) to cry on. I'm so grateful and feel blessed that I can now be strong throughout this ordeal for him. I am looking forward to a successful and smooth surgery & having my happy, pain-free, sweet, cutie-pie of a husband back! Please send good vibes, prayers and healing thoughts our way!!!
I've also decided... 🥁 that I'm NOT going to weigh in anymore until the end of the gymshark competition. I struggle with pretty serious anxiety & take medication to manage it. The weekly weigh-ins have become a source of undue stress, anxiety, and unhealthy obsession. I know some people argue that the number on the scale doesn't matter-- but honestly when you are obese + unhealthy... which I am considered obese, it does matter because getting down to a healthy weight is vital. However, I've become a little too fixated on it and want to break that cycle. I will be continuing to track + post meals here and in my story, workout regularly, and post progress pics the next two weeks--- but I will not be stepping on a scale again until March 6th 🖤 Until then, I hope everyone keeps smashing this competition and remembering to put your health-- both physical and mental FIRST! @gymshark #gymshark66 - 17 minutes ago
