Courage - The origin of the word courage is from Middle English and it denotes the seat of the heart, of feelings. From the Latin ‘cor’ meaning ‘heart’.
When we walk with the darkness of Winter with compassion and awareness, we are open to receive messages to guide our next steps. Often the messages arrive in the shape of what we don’t want. We argue, we feel slighted, we experience painful situations, we’re triggered when unresolved issues and sore spots are touched. Our default patterns kick in and we react, shut down, come out with our fists high. It takes courage to pause, recognize choice, invite in curiosity and wonder, and say, ‘this is not what I want, so if I know I don’t want this… what do I want?’ And listen. Feel. See.
From here, new thoughts, beliefs and patterns emerge to create the life we want.
Courage is a theme we explore in the coming Magical Guidebook. It comes up for us all as we ponder if we have what it takes to make changes, to evolve and create new patterns and new ways of being. We have allies here to help, arms open and ready. I believe it takes courage, it takes connection with our hearts wisdom to create a life where patterns evolve and support habits, thoughts and beliefs that honor our best life. I believe we do have what it takes 💜
This week the second new moon after the Winter Solstice arrives. The light is growing and with it the urge to rush towards the doing of things, making the big changes. See if you can hold that energy inside to grow a little longer, nurture it in your inner sanctuary until it’s strong and vibrant. Tend to your roots, your dreams. The flutters of movement are coming.
Much love and blessings ✨💕 - 2 hours ago
