This morning on Facebook i saw some women I don't know selling fat burning coffee. 🙄⁣

Her post read.."Who loves to drink coffee and wants to get skinny doing so?"⁣
⁣
Maybe I was denial thinking shit like this didn't exist anymore, ⁣
and definitely in denial that women were no longer buying into it.✖️⁣
⁣
But honestly, it was followed by comments like: ⁣
"OMG, this is exactly what i need"⁣
"Tagging my friend"⁣
"Can i use my creamer?!"⁣
⁣
 This fires me up more than anything. 😤⁣
⁣
Why do you still think that things like "fat burning coffee" in combination with an hour of some kind of cardio is actually going to change your body and the way you feel about yourself???🤯⁣
⁣
It may increase your daily steps and bring a few more calories burned but don't expect some AMAZING transformation out of it. Definitely not the transformation you're looking for. ✖️⁣
⁣
Yet it sounds sooooo easy, so we're sold. Then you're disappointed..once again feeling like nothing is working for you and somehow your body must be broken or unable to lose weight. Which causes you to revert back to your old ways and spend weeks not giving a shit until you can't take it anymore 🤦🏼‍♀️⁣
⁣
So what do i want you to do instead? What actually works? ⁣
✔️Start making sustainable changes in your day⁣
✔️Get clear around the goals you have for your body and life⁣
✔️Educate yourself on food and how weight loss actually works (I've written SO MANY posts on it FYI)⁣
✔️Walk into a gym with a workout plan outside of JUST cardio (I can offer you that)⁣
✔️COMMIT to something that you can keep up with, not something that lasts for 6 weeks provides rapid weight loss and brings short term results. (WONT LAST)⁣

OR ⁣
✖️you can keep doing what you're doing, buying things like skinny coffee and blaming these products for their inefficiency, when myself and other professionals are sitting in front you choosing to provide you real results everyday.⁣

Day 45 #backworkout plus #tricepsworkout 
My 1st attempt ever at #battleropes and it took a while to get out of my fear based mind and #justdoit Really had to keep my form solid and controlled my range of motion to make sure I didn’t do any more damage to my shoulder. Mom of 2 under 2 and crushing her goals ❤
She came in feeling ❌Anxious
❌bloated ❌Exhausted ❌Stuck
She ate regular meals during the day but just couldn't get shed the baby weight

In just 6 weeks she now has
✔1 or 2 bowel movements a day to help eliminate toxins and reduce bloating
✔Less anxiety and is able to focus on her energy and positives in her life
✔Is still getting less sleep but after using magnesium and having carbs at night is now able to get better quality sleep and feel well rested ✔Has more energy than her kids 🙃
✔She's dropped 6 pounds so far,  2 inches off her waist and 8 inches total 
Currently we are detoxing but doing it very minimally because she's nursing her youngest. Soon we'll be sealing up her gut and building some more lean muscle 💪

When it comes down to it, the biggest obstacle that stands in the way of us living our true Prana, the obstacle that we fear the most, is the one looking at us in the mirror.

We have a choice to make. We can believe our fears and our self limiting beliefs, which we create out of nothing, and let them dictate our lives OR we can strip down to bare bones, get raw and honest with ourselves, acknowledge what our fears are, courageously face them, and tell them to fuck off.

Skating assessments are tomorrow! 😎☠️

A major reason I quit racing and triathlons was the major impact it had on my health. I was hard on my body and mind during training—I was always pushing myself. Come race day, I was a ball of nerves who had lofty goals and expectations. I was often angry and negative. I compared myself to every runner who passed me and hated them.
•
My races often fell to pieces (ok...they crashed and burned), leaving me angrier and with a heavy sense of grief and shame. This happened every race—and my performance became an obsession. (And every race was just about terrible.)
•
With skating, I’m now trying g to do the exact opposite. I’m not obsessing over my performance and setting unobtainable goals. I’m not overly training or berating myself for what I can’t do. I’m focusing on my growth and abilities—not someone else’s. I’m trying to keep an open mind and keep the process light and fun.
•
To be honest, it’s a lot of work to stay in this mindset. But if I want to have fun in derby, I have to take off all the pressure. I have to stop trying to strive for perfection. I have to keep things casual and not overthink.
•
Regardless of how assessments go tomorrow, I’m so proud of myself for what I’ve accomplished—this is far beyond my comfort zone. I’ve improved so much since I started in July—and I knew this was going to be a long process. I’m as ready as I’m going to be. The plan is to just go into assessments tomorrow—without expectations—and have fun.
