Who doesn’t have TIME in the evening for a workout? 🙋🏼‍♀️
Whether it’s classes, work or kids, our evening time is usually spent running from one commitment to the next. Fitting in a workout is nearly impossible, so many of us try to turn to the dreaded morning workout.
-
Squats before the sun comes up isn’t always fun, but there’s a few things you can do to make those early morning training sessions a little more tolerable:
1. PLAN ahead. What will you do in the gym? What will you wear? When will you arrive and leave?
2. PREPARE for the day. Pack your lunch beforehand. Clean up your email that night. Pick your work outfit. The little steps go a long way to relieve the morning rush.
3. WARMUP. Injuries and burnout happen when you jump right into intense exercise. Your muscles are still aching for your bed, which means you need to take extra care to warm up and stretch before beginning.
