I have been practicing for a certain Time to become stable and really focused in headstand 😮❤️😉for some yogis it’s super easy for others it is hard work I noticed.. so that’s with everything we do in our lives.Have you noticed yet ?😮🌸💡💡🌟🥺no? Happy Sunday people ❣️ I am running to the fair to continue working 😭😭😭😭 Can’t wait for this experience to finish , i am tired and willing to jump on my mat again. Love you and live you with MY JOURNEY TO PRESS HANDSTAND 🙌🏽 “Put in the 1000 attempts per day and you’ll eventually get it”. “Just put in the attempts and you’ll get it!”. Let me tell you something: My journey into press started 5 month  ago without any foundation , no  arm strength, no shoulder strength, no core strength, tight hamstrings, no wrist mobility 😭  I tried and tried realizing that 👇🏽Attempts were useless if i did not have the proper foundation.

The thing is: 
When you train, do you have some kind of plan? Do you understand which areas of *your* body for *your* specific body type you should be training to improve?  Ask yourself, are you being BUSY? Or are you being PRODUCTIVE?

Are you practicing with a purpose?

Consistent progress depends on clearly knowing your weak links – THAT is where you have the most room to improve.

Your current levels of strength aren’t your ceiling, they’re just a reflection of your current weakest links.

Today i am not here to tell you how to press,  but to remind you if you want to achieve certain skills  you need :

1- A clear understanding of your  body 
2.Work on the correct drills to prepare your body for the skill you want to achieve.

3. Quality is far more important than quantity. If you practice the wrong way, you’ll simply train your brain to develop faulty movement patterns.

I truly believe everything in life (big & small events) happen to us for a good reason.✨ The universe, (or God, or whatever higher power you believe in), guides us in the direction we are meant to take. Ether (last element) represents empty space in the absence of anything. It is not like a vacuum. Vacuum effect happens because there is air out of the vacuum. The ether is just space. According to Vedic cosmology, there was ether before the other elements. It is where everything happens. It is the medium where sound travels. It’s the medium where enrgy travels without any resistance.
In yoga tradition the sound and vibration is very important. Everything has a vibration. This also a scientific claim. The atomic particles vibrate. All physical beings, humans, animals, plants also objects are composed of the vibrating atomic particles. Sound also travels in waves; different sounds have different frequencies. So, the words have unique vibrations according to how they are uttered. Our emotional states and our intentions effects our voice.

Ether is the space where everything comes together, where everything connects.

Unsere Träume kommen uns manchmal wie Seifenblasen vor. Sobald wir sie anpacken, zerplatzen sie. Und um das zu verhindern, aus lauter Angst, unser Traum könnte einfach so kaputt gehen wie eine Seifenblase, wagen wir uns gar nicht erst an deren Erfüllung.
Wir träumen Tag für Tag und stellen uns vor, wie unser Leben aussehen KÖNNTE - aber vermutlich niemals wird, solange wir unsere Träume wie Seifenblasen behandeln.
Deshalb: lasst uns mutig sein. Lasst uns Träume jagen und wenigstens versuchen, sie zu erfüllen. Und wenn wenn wir dabei scheitern, dann haben wir nicht versagt. Wir haben es probiert und vielleicht hat das Universum einfach etwas besseres mit uns vor. Bereuen werden wir immer ehr die Dinge, die wir gar nicht erst probiert haben. This is my very first yoga challenge and I couldn’t me more thrilled to work towards this pose! Before I started my yoga journey, my muscles were tight and tense. In forward folds... seated side angle... you name it. Once warming the muscles up and practicing consistently, I found these poses to be a huge relief. Since monkey pose stretches quads, hamstrings, glutes and so many more muscles, it seems like the perfect challenge to start with... Starting Monday, I will be posting a stretch variation every day for 15 days on how to gently move into this pose. Let’s do this!

When it comes to the asana practice we mostly think about „flexibility“ and „strength“. Both should and can help us to gain more freedom in our bodies. 
But what about mobility? And where are the differences ? 
There is this huge misunderstanding that if you stretch enough you will remain mobile and ready to move. But mobility is not simply stretching. Mobility refers to the capacity to move using active, stable and controlled motion. Mobility is body control. It should be part of your practice to maximize movement capacity, safely , efficiently and effectively. Maintaining joint mobility is key for preserving long term health and longevity. It helps injury prevention. And on top a wide range of motion will give you more freedom in your body and movement, more productivity and vitality. 
So join us for a journey of asanas, trying to transform liability into controlled strength and strength to a wide range of motion. 
It is going to be a mixture of mobility drills and classical yoga poses, all around the mobility of hips, spine and shoulders.
Each day another host will show you a great drill to find more mobility, space, flexibility and strength in that area. 💫Rules:

So many of us start practicing for different reasons, intentions and with different expectations.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Quite often it starts out as a physical practice, and then once you practice a few times (depending on where you are), you may start to realise that it is so much more than that.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In comes the power of the breath, meditation, stillness, sound, mindfulness and energetics...⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Then slowly you notice that you feel more calm and peaceful, more relaxed and less tense in the body, more self-aware, more present in life, less reactive, and perhaps one of the most valuable measures of all... the relationship with yourself and with others starts to transform.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The benefits of a yoga practice are endless. Last Sunday myself and 9 other Sunshine Coast yoga teachers came together to lead 108 Sun Salutations to raise money for the wildlife affected by the bushfires here in Australia.. .

While I wish it didn’t take a tragedy to gather us together like this, it warmed my heart to see so many of us from our local community gather together like this and put our collective will towards such a cause. 🙌

Thankyou to all who came and donated funds, time and sweat, and to the other teachers who stood beside me in leading our community, @salyogasunshinecoast for being the connector for all this to happen, & @baptistelphoto for these beautiful stills of the day ✨
