The physical therapist & I bonded over our love of true crime & how we believe every stranger is a potential serial killer.
I scored a free brand new huge doll house for my classroom from a stranger.
The associate at LUSH was incredibly kind & asking about veganism when I asked for different product without honey. He was so interested it made me happy how curious he was.
Someone who didn’t work at the cycling studio took the time to teach me how to use the bike & adjusted everything for me.
The instructor at my cycle class was crazy full of life, I hated him sometimes, but mostly loved him. He then invited us to an event where he will be celebrating 3 years of sobriety & is flying out to see his son who he hasn’t seen in over a year. I don’t know if it was tears or sweat running down my cheeks.
After working almost a 12 hour day, my boyfriend got coconuts for us on his way home cause we love them.
Some days I’m on the verge of suffocating from the pain of the world struggling to find a glimmer of humanity. Most days I feel the warmth. I see humans & small acts of humanity. There are horrid events taking place around our world & it can be too overwhelming to hold at times. We can’t allow ourselves to be swallowed whole into that darkness. We cannot & are not meant to carry the weight of the world. We do our part with best intentions & as mentioned before, be a lighthouse for humanity. Trickle specks of light wherever you go. Your one act of kindness IS noticed & remembered. - 6 minutes ago
