A lot of people from the outside fear us. They want to keep their distance. They say that we are troubled. Are we? As far as I am concerned, we just experienced some things we weren't ready to experience at that moment. Be it abuse, death or loss, divorce and many more. We are searching for ways to explain or rationalize the experience. We are just people trying to figure it out. We are people trying to reconnect with who we are. We try to tell ourselves that we are okay, that we could return to our former lives if we follow our treatments, but this is not the way we want our treatments to be done. They cage us here and inflict the thought that we are not normal. Our counselors and psychologists tell us to make friends here, yet they have no idea how troublesome that is. We start conversing with one another, then we find out the stories behind everybody. We listen to the depressing stories which makes us realize what a terrible place the world had become. We fear that if we ever get out of here, we would never fit in our former lives. It feels like we could never go back to our original dimensions, especially not after what we saw in here. We are trapped. We forget the outside world, then we end up planning our suicides together. How are we supposed to get better? Tell me! How are we supposed to get better, huh? I can't fend off my grief in here, neither could I in the outside world.
