While Rome is expansive, our @airbnb was not 😂. We got a super deal on it, but it came with some adjustment. 💁🏼♀️
This was our bedroom 🛏, Chris @redbeardedwayfinder ’s office 📞, the school room 📚 and often the movie watching/hang out room.
Cramming a big family 👩🏼👱🏻♂️👱🏼♀️👦🏼👦🏼👦🏼👧🏼 into a big city comes with compromises. Also, this Rome apartment was the worst WiFi we’ve ever had and we had to buy hot spots. They were truly lifesavers!
Overall, we are so grateful for how this experience has taught us flexibility and patience. We joke about how our kids won’t be phased by much after this. From third-world toilets to some of the most expensive places on earth, we’ve rolled through it all 🙌🏻
I think the flip side of this coin (because, let’s face it, there always is one!) is that nothing really feels like home anymore. Our family feels like home, but no one place does. This is a bit unsettling and freeing at the same time. I guess we will see what the future holds? 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♂️ - 2 hours ago
