Weekend plans anyone? It’s going to be super cold here and I’ve gotten used to these unseasonably warm 60° days so I don’t think I can hang with the 20s. We’re also supposed to finally get a little snow. We’ve surprisingly only had like one inch so far this winter. Anyways, snuggle and chill weekend it is. Tell me what you’re up to— anything exciting?💜

In order to love who you are, you cannot hate the experiences that shaped you.💕

Do you trust your intuition? Or push it aside? .

Today I stopped for a quick lunch with Eloise and another 2 year old boy that I take care of. Shortly after we sat down a man sat down at the table next to us. I noticed he didn’t order any food from the counter which immediately made me question why he was there. He stared at us for what felt like an eternity even though it was probably only about 5 minutes. I turned to meet his glance multiple times as to say, I see you staring, please back off. I felt extremely uncomfortable but tried to brush it off and tell myself that he’s probably meeting a friend. He doesn’t mean any harm and probably has a mental health condition. I tried to make myself believe that people are good and that I was overreacting but I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. After our food came he moved closer and said in a horrifying voice “cute kids.” He didn’t smile. And I couldn’t get out of there any faster. I literally threw everyone’s food into one huge bag which sent two hungry toddlers into a complete meltdown, but it didn’t matter. As I scrambled to get the screaming kids out of their seats the man started talking to my 2 year old, as if to keep us there or calm us down. I grabbed them both, carried them to the car, got them in their car seats faster than I ever have  before and drove off scared that he was going to follow me. Was I overreacting? Maybe. Was he a normal guy who thought my kids were actually just cute? Possibly, because they are. Is it possible he had a mental disability which made him stare awkwardly with no regard to how it made me feel? Could be. Was I going to ignore my gut feeling and stick around to find out? HELL NO. .
People, women, mamas, we have an intuition for a reason. We are given this sixth sense to protect ourselves and those we love. TRUST IT. We’re living in crazy times right now. When it comes to protecting my children, very few people get the benefit of the doubt. If something feels off, I dont ignore it and neither should you. Better safe than sorry. .

Speak your truth so that others may have the courage to speak their own. Share your stories so that others can bond through sharing their own. Love yourself so that others can learn how to love themselves. If you want to save the world, start by saving yourself. The world will learn through your example.❤️❤️❤️ .

On tonight’s episode of poses that are harder then they look.. this standing mermaid dancer variation was a toughie! Trying to keep the bind in the arms while bending backwards to keep the knees locked together was a challenge and a half! I’d love to see you guys try this one. Give it a shot & tag me so I can see!👀💜. .

Ok so I started off this post talking about the movie Frozen and then I had too much fun finding emojis for it (❄️⛄️🦌🥕🧊💙 ) and then decided to delete it and play a game with you instead. So I want you to comment below a few emojis to describe your favorite movie so me (and others!) can try to guess what it is.😬 .
Ready aaaaaand go!⬇️⬇️⬇️ .

I hope you learn to be proud of the person you are becoming. I hope you learn to be proud of where you are- even if it’s not exactly where you want to be. I hope you fall in love with the process, with the messiness of life and the confusion of it all. .
At the end of the day, I hope you find what you’re looking for out there. .
I hope your life inspires you.💕 .

I’ve been kind of quiet on here the last few weeks. I keep thinking about all these long captions I want to write out for my posts, especially for the new year, but by the time I sit down at night with some time to do it my mind goes blank. Why is it the only time that I have these long inspiring thoughts is when I’m driving and can’t write them down? Does this happen to anyone else? 😫😭 I think I’m going to have to start leaving early so I can pull over and get them down.😂 .

One of the newest things that Eloise does is pretend to sneeze. And if you don’t acknowledge it as a legitimate sneeze right away, she just keeps doing it and gets louder and louder and gets closer and more dramatic about it until you stop what you’re doing, look her in the eye, and say “Bless you Eloise.” And that’s all, I just think she’s awesome and I hope that makes you smile. Toddlers are hilarious. What are your littles doing right now that cracks you up? Tell me so we can giggle together.❤️⬇️🤗

Headed home today after 8 days in our hometown in FL. I realize I’ve barely even posted while we’ve been here, not even stories. I’ve been so busy soaking up all the nostalgia and memories from our life here. It’s always wild to come home to see how much of absolutely nothing has changed. Same restaurants, same smells, same people playing music on the same corners, same moss on my favorite rocks. Sometimes it feels like we’ve never left.💕 .

My favorite shade of blue is forever the color of the ocean from beautiful St Augustine Florida.🌊 We’ve had quite a few hiccups in our trip so far, but this view fixes everything.💙 .
