“Toronto, you’re getting colder and colder! Even though I complain about the weather, I do really enjoy living in a part of the world that experiences the four seasons (don’t get me wrong, though winter is really long some years). With each season comes a certain light, a glare, a feeling. Of all the seasons, I’d say that the light in winter is my favourite. The only problem is, it’s usually cloudy so those nice-light days don’t come along very often!”

"A woodland caribou in Quebec to get in the mood for the holidays. I wanted to share with you this amazing creature that I captured, is a North American subspecies of the reindeer. Boreal woodland caribou may be extinct before the year 2100 if the rate of range loss continues. Destruction of habitat, hunting and disturbances by humans during the construction of roads and pipelines are all factors that have contributed to the decline of Woodland Caribou. Several species are now kept in wildlife sanctuaries."
